Wow. Another winner for the Jonathan Island series! I have read the prequel and the first book in this series and this next story does not disappoint! We were introduced to Mia and Cody’s characters in the first book and I was happy to read what happened to them. Who doesn’t enjoy a friends-to-lovers and second chances romance? Cody’s guilt and Mia’s pride keep getting in the way though and it’s frustrating to the reader how long it takes them to work through their past. Faith is subtly woven throughout the book. Both characters need help restoring their relationships with their fathers. I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful story.
Highly recommend this fun, heartwarming, clean romance that will keep you reading until the end!
