About the Book
Title: 70 North
Series: Alaskan Cyber Hunters #3
Author: Kimberley Woodhouse
Publisher: Kregel Publications
Release Date: October 15, 2024
Genre: Christian Mystery & Suspense
The Cyber Solutions team has managed to stay one step ahead of the madman who has killed so many. From the original 26 Below cyberattack in Fairbanks to the 8 DOWN serial murders in Anchorage and beyond, they matched wits with the killer and stopped him from reaching his ultimate goals.
But final judgment is coming. And this time, there may be no defeating him.
David “Mac” McPherson has a personal stake in making sure this predator stays down for good. His family died in the cyberattack. Mac knows that God says “vengeance is mine”—but surely an exception can be made.
Surgeon Tracie Hunter is determined to stay sober and keep saving lives in Fairbanks, Alaska—even if it means being a little obsessive. After all, that same kind of determination is how she kept Mac alive after the murderer targeted him. And she won’t let Mac run himself into the grave looking for payback; he’s come to mean too much to her.
Then someone hacks into the system at Tracie’s previous job as a medical examiner and frames her in a murder cover-up. There’s no one else skilled enough to create a digital trail this incriminating—the killer is back in action, exploiting cybersecurity weaknesses to destroy lives. Can Mac stay focused and stop the next attack when his own vulnerability is exposed? Or will his need to make someone pay for his pain allow the maniac to pull ahead and win at last?

My Review
Book: 70 North
Author: Kimberley Woodhouse
Series: Book 3 in the Alaskan Cyber Hunters
Rating: 4/5
I’ve been reading a lot of books set in Alaska recently and this story still managed to be exciting and unique which I thoroughly enjoyed. The writing is fast-paced and engaging. The multiple perspectives give a lot of insight to both sides which is also fun and interesting. I truly enjoyed the action and the romance together. The author has a great way of weaving in faith elements along with humor and just enough technical terms to make the story seem authentic and relevant. I loved seeing the evolution of the main characters. I will admit that not having read the first two books made trying to understand some of the details in the story more difficult to understand, but I’m not sure they were necessary to understanding the gist of what was going on. I am planning to go back to read the first two books in the series because this story was so well written.
Highly recommend this cyber thriller set in beautiful Alaska with romance and action!
My thanks to the author and publisher for providing me with an ARC of the book. All opinions expressed here are entirely my own. No positive review was expected and no compensation received.

oh yes! Definitely go back and read the first two – it’s such a fantastic series!!
I’m glad to read that the characters grow through the series. I really don’t care for characters that remain static. It doesn’t make sense and it’s boring.
Thank you for the review
