What could come between a nanny and an earl in a fairy-tale love story? A reality check—in an endearing and witty romance by Sariah Wilson, the bestselling author of Roommaid.

With her sister’s medical bills mounting, Diana Parker can’t say no to a high-paying opportunity like this: accompany a wealthy couple to Aspen and nanny their precocious five-year-old son for three months. Necessary qualifications? She must know how to ski and teach math, speak fluent French, excel at social graces, and hold a master’s degree in childhood development. Who’ll be the wiser that Diana’s only skill is packing for Colorado?

So far, so good—having a con woman for a mother has turned out to be a benefit, even if Diana has complicated feelings about telling lies. But she’s doing this for her sister. And the perks—like a ticket to a lavish charity fundraiser, a new gown, and a Prince Charming–adjacent earl named Griffin Windsor—are pretty irresistible. Diana can’t deny the Cinderella vibe.

Wary of gold diggers and scandal, England’s most eligible bachelor is nevertheless falling for Diana, and sweeping the not-quite princess off her feet.

The warmer their relationship becomes, the slipperier the slopes are for Diana. Sooner or later, she’ll have to come clean. When that happens, does an honest-to-goodness happy ending stand a chance?

About the Author

Sariah Wilson is the USA Today bestselling author of The Paid Bridesmaid, The Seat Filler, Roommaid, Just a Boyfriend, the Royals of Monterra series, and the #Lovestruck novels. She has never jumped out of an airplane, has never climbed Mount Everest, and is not a former CIA operative. She has, however, been madly, passionately in love with her soul mate and is a fervent believer in happily ever afters—which is why she writes romance. She grew up in Southern California, graduated from Brigham Young University (go Cougars!) with a semi-useless degree in history, and is the oldest of nine (yes, nine). She currently lives with the aforementioned soul mate and their children in Utah, along with three cats named Pixel, Callie, and Belle, who do not get along (the cats, not the kids—although the kids sometimes have their issues, too).

My Review

Cinder-Nanny
by Sariah Wilson
Rating: 4.5/5

Wow. Sariah Wilson does it again with so many feel-good moments that make you squeal with delight at the romance of it all. Her stories are so fun, flirty and swoon worthy that you can’t stop reading and laughing. Cinder-Nanny is brilliant and beautiful and you need to read it if you enjoy rom-coms.

First, the book cover is beautiful – I love the color scheme.
Second, the premise is not new but the writer keeps the story fresh and throws in some fun twists to the original Cinderella story. And who doesn’t love a good modern-day Cinderella retelling?
Third, the main characters are relatable and interesting with their backgrounds and family dynamics. I really enjoyed their banter and chemistry. Diana’s background was interesting to explore and I enjoyed the journey that she goes through. I loved how her background helped her do her job as a nanny.
Fourth, the romance and chemistry between the two of them are ridiculously cute, swoon worthy, and so satisfying (and clean).

PG-13 content.

Highly recommend if you enjoy romantic comedies with fairytale meet-cutes, flirty banter and a lot of heart.
